Account Security [A-Sec]

Starting 06/06/2011 all Legends in BSO will be automatically placed under A-Sec Protection
Those donators who paid for the service before will be refunded in DC (IF they are under the new Auto A-Sec list.

Rules regarding Auto A-Sec-
-All Legends will be placed under A-Sec without any exception
-Maximum of 3 Computers can be registered to a Legend account
-NO two legends will be allowed access from the same computer.
-An account cannot have computers registered in Different countries.

Features-
-Prevents hackers from accessing Protected accounts
-If a hacker does get any access to the account, then both the gm team and the account owner will be alerted through Email
-The account will also go under a lock down preventing the hacker from accessing the account.

The List of Eligible legends will be posted below
On 6/6/2011 the legends will be locked until the owner contacts a gm and has their account setup with their new A-Sec settings.

BTW Gm what if the other legends didnt finish setting up their A-Sec are u gonna set it up for them? =] cuz im sure other legends will not bother doing this cuz they want other players to log them in...

you dont have to worry, it doesnt matter if u change ur pass so no one can log u in... u can log in ur account even if ur on the list of A-Sec.. unfortunately, other cant =]

i tried the same thing =] i asked if the player from the same country as i am in can log me in... Gm said no account sharing.. only the real owner.. the IP and the country it is registered in can only log it in =D... i tried, IT FAILED!!! but im fine with it ^^ hehehe

Gluck finding a GM to set it up though, there's 3/4 ppl who cant get a heads up with him either and still cannot play LOL.

OMG are u serious??? ... whats the point of putting us on A Sec if u arent gonna help us retrieve what we have...

And 2ndly, we... well for me i didnt asked Gms to put me on A SeC untill every Legend is required to be in A SEC T___T this is pointless.. A SEC or no A SEC same treatment... .. im thinking that this server needs to have the new management now >____> one Gm cant do everything... ONE GM decides for us all... not good T_____T

GM maybe u still didnt notice ur server is dieing ? there is no more pk, and many many people quitted cuz of different reasons. now u r saying ultima and death rnt the real owners? o.0 ultima still the same person since he made his char a legend and it was called "Plop" he added me on facebook and its still the same person that is contacting me there til now so how come he is a different person -.-
id be really really mad if i were at their place.
and many people r already thinking to quit seeing whats happening to others...

A-Sec is fine. Just the point is that there's only one GM setting it up and he's online limited and only at his own timezone.

I think there should be a possibility that Legends can send an email to the GM and then put a meeting within 24 hours.
After all Legends are big donators to the server and the reason its alive.

In DeathSentence his case, there used to be duals on UltimaWeapon for months and that is the reason why it looks like there's a different owner but they are the only real owners and located both in Puerto Rico..

A-Sec provided full recovery options to people if it wasnt enabled for all legends like how its been made now. The system will only be 100% efficient with 10-12 accounts under its protection. More than that is hard to manage and keep track of all their account's and character logs. And now since A-Sec has been given to all legends for free it will prevent your account from being hacked. Simple as that

Also there will be no more legend characters who will be online 24/7/356. Only the real owner who donated for the character will be able to use it.

From the ip logs, Someone from Canada has been using the account more than the actual owners. Also their ISPs are terrible and each time they login I cant find any means to Identify their ISP. They need to contact us through chat to fix up their A-Sec account

I think its only Me and gutbust3r from Canada .. and at that time only Gutbust3r can login Ultimaweapon cuz ultima went busy with his work.. but Gutbust3r isnt the real owner... Ultima's brother is DeathSentence and Death bought the Legend quest for both Ulti and Death..

i still really dont see the point of this A-sec on legends it just seems its people complaing because legends are online all the time. People like jan who has a voy and crus legend and malled amour but didn't own account orignaly are been punished. XIII whos new user is nIx cnat use cause orginal owner not on even though he gave Nix account cause he in top i really dont see the point in alock and if i get hacked its mostly going to be my own fault.
Can we allow more users on our accounts if we give them permission or remove blasted alock cause i think its stupid and frustrating. I am not the only one who holds these views and i am sure many like the A-lock esp FTW guild who came out of a 3 month or so loosing streak.

A-sec is a good idea to stop dualing and logging other legends, i remember when exc was active everytime i go any maze they log eclipse and S2. to kill me with one HS, so its like no chance for me to go any maze which isnt fair at all.
about new users for legends yeah gm must look in their case and let them play, but as he said only one person play the legend char not more, to avoid dualing..

Jo How many times must i say cleric = support not ss killer and yes its not fair some many ppls cant log their characters i dont care if people dual i rather have my character used then unused so if their is a way or card to buy to remove a lock on a legend tell me cause i dont want the dam protection if i get hacked ill rebuy or quit not cry and beg that i misplaced my trust.

Another problem this stupid forced alock idea is when 2 ppls from diff regions deiced to pool together to make a legend its hardly fair this lock in my opinion was not thought out properly.

if im just a support class then u must be just a tank class, if im not able to kill just to support ppl, then ju must be not able to kill just tank, thats what tankers for ^^ , but we r playing in a private server our chars r much stronger than offical top, so plz dont tell me what my char is for. PLUS, i didnt say why i cant kill SS learn to read well., i said it was lame to dual eclipse everytime they c me to make no chance for me to survive any maze, yeah my cleric die with 1 HS i didnt say anything about this now, what im saying if it was just eclipse logging it she would be there in some mazes and some not, so id die sometimes and sometimes not, but not everytime they c me they log eclipse which i find so so lame. i agree that gm must look into jan and nix issue etc, but i also agree to make legends forced to be under A-sec for more balanced pk, u can keep complaining from now til forever i dont think gm will listen to u, tc
