Newbie Guide

Hello my ingame name is Clicks.

This will be a guide for newbies to get a more enjoyable experience with the game.


[How to Download]
Go to the main page on http://www.brightsunonline.com/
And click the button DOWNLOAD


It will open the next page, for now the only available server is Megaupload (wich is great)


After you click on the Megaupload button it will open the next page, just put the random code and click:


Wait 45 seconds and the button REGULAR DOWNLOAD will be available


[Starting the game]

After your download is finished, go to the folder you downloaded to and open the BrightSunOnlineClient.exe


It will take awhile, and all the necessary files will be extracted to the folder.
And it should look like this


Open the Bright Sun Launcher.exe and the game will check for new updates. After everything is done chick on the START button.


Rebirth server then
Put your username and password.
Obs. NEVER forget your security code...







[Levelling Method One]

I recomend starting in Argent City, it is where all the fun is.
After you finished making your character, go to the radar and put the coordinates: 2195,2759 and talk to the npc Sandbag Isle Teleporter and go to Sandbag Isle A!






There you go, now you are ready to level up by yourself. Just kill the level ??? Meaty Penguim, its purple but don't worry, it won't atack back, and your damage will be multiplied by alot, to make sure you kill it. After you kill it you should be level 18 or more, don't forget to open your newbie chest to get gear and also some Mini Amplier of Strive (use it).


I recomend going back to argent, and go to 2195,2747. Talk to the NPC Job Changer – Lucius.


Choose your first class and congrats, now you can open your chest for even better gear.
You can also kill the Aberrance Lizard, it takes some time but also don't atack back and will give you some nice levels.
Grind until you are level 40 and go talk to the Job Changer again, you will need 50k to change to your second job, you can get the money from selling a Sandbag Lv2 to any NPC.


After you change to the second class you will get:
3 million gold
Goddess Favor (wich can be sold to any NPC for 2,5million gold)
Unsealed Lv 45 Armor and Weapon.

You can keep grinding here until you are level 45, after that you won't have more damage multiplier. Wich means it will take quite alot more to kill the mobs.


[Leveling Method Two]

Start your character and go to the Sandbag Teleporter at 2195,2759.
Choose the last option Sandbag Isle B2


Just find someone killing the mobs (don't worry, no mob will agroo you). And ask them to be your mentor (only characters under level 41 can be disciples). And they will probably level you to 70+ or even 80+


After you found yourself a mentor, go to Find Party and search his/her nickname and click confirm


They will even give you Berries or Exp. Amps.


There you go a high level character in few minutes.




[Making Quick money]

Fastest way for a newbie to make money is.... selling disciples! People will pay from 5 to 15 million for EACH disciple you can provide. More clients you can open means more money you will make, i used this method to get my first pieces of gear and i must say, i was suprised how much money i made from this.

How this works? Simple, say in trade chat “S> Disciples”. Someone will private message you, and all you need to do is make a level 1 character and go to the Sandbag Isle of choice let the person be your mentor and thats it. Usually the payment is half before starting and half after its done, i did that with few people and all of them was really honest.

After you have some half decent gear, you can farm by yourself in FC2 or even DW.

Well... Moderators could fix the images.... i even tried to put them to 800x600 and still didn't show the whole thing so im thinking its problem with the forum layout.
Moderators are free to change anything.

Remember to Preview your posts before sending them. Mostly for images.

I did, and no matter wich size i used, even 800x600 was cutted still, so im guessing the forum has a really low resolution to begin with.
Would be nice to hear from a moderator, i could try to upload the pic in a even lower resolution, but i don't know if people will be able to see everything that is needed.

It's a really nice guide, but as always I have something to say about it x.x

I'm not 100% sure so don't start flaming, but I've tested leveling solo with disciple on bag isle with newbie and than lv45 crus. Here is what I figured:
- As newbie you damage gets multiplied so you can level easily at any level
- Once you do your promotion to 2nd class (any kind) the multi-dmg bonus turns off

So I would suggest if you start off fresh that you grind yourself up to about 65 I guess so you can use 65 unseal which I believe are ranked as one of more decent EQ.

thats the fastest way to make cash it beats all other methods of making fast cash xd

Thats true, i got all my gear in like a day of selling disciples to ramper lol.
And i kept doing that until i had my character geared enough to kill by myself. Might be boring, after some time, but its really worth it.

Changed everything to thumbnails... since with 640x480 was impossible to read anything. I really think its a decent guide, would be nice to hear from GM's / Admin.
