Story Quest FAQs

First of all i want to give a little apologize to my guides readers.
I've been so busy lately and i couldnt have writen any guide.
But dont be afraid, soon il come back with some interesting guides, im making the scripts already.

Anyways, il make this very short.

Recently many players got interested in the Story Quests, obviously because they want a Kylin Set, but they are having some problems with it, so.

First.

Story Quest Guide (by GlobalArcher)

The part of the quest where you get Kylin Chest is called Wellington's Blessing.

This guide have minor errors so, check this guide also.

Story Quest Guide (by MMO site)

In both guides might be errors in some monsters coords, so use this page to check the coords.

TOP/PKO Database

As for Mermaid Queen, you might find errors in any of the page, so i recommend using Google to find the correct coords (sorry i dont remember which ones are)


Another thing is, right now Canary Isle was replaced for Sandbag Isles, we already reported this, so they will soon fix it for us to continue the Story Quests. We need some mobs from this isle.

Theres some problem with the "Blacksmith Worries" quest, to activate it i recommend to keep the 8 Gates quests undone until you reach to Blacksmith Worries part. So you finish the Deathsoul Commander killing part, then 8 Gates then Blacksmith Worries. I did this way and got no problem.

For the Deathsoul Commander and Black Jewel killing part i recommend to finish those bosses with the char your doing the Story Quest. I mean, make the party who helped you log out and deal the finishing blow. So you will get the kill and the item you need.


Later il make a guide for how to solo Deathsoul Commander and Black Jewel.

This is all by now, if i remember anything else i will update it right here.

Hunt down the soul gathering coffins around Skeletar Isle for them
Reward: 250K EXP, 150K G

The Congregation
Talk to Mark (516,407) at Skeletar Isle
Obtain for him :
Bloodied Coin 0 / 1 - From Skeletar pirate - Kaka(75)
Gold Coin 0 / 40 - From Skeletar pirate -Lala(75) , Kaka(75) , Tutu(80)
Reward: 500k EXP, 800k Gold

(Real Story Quest)

Blacksmith Worries
Find Mark (516,407) at Skeletar Isle.
Deliever letter to Elizabeth (618,966) at Treasure Gulf.
Reward : 10000 EXP, 25000 G

I have not done the marked quests and still got the set (but to tell the truth I was 3rd to finish story quests on this server and that was long time ago)

Also this all in all is not full story quest guide.

There are these sub-quests I have found:
- Winter Archipelago story quests
- Tear of Icy Dragon (this quest can be obtained by killing Icy Dragon and double clicking on Tear of Icy Dragon item you get dropped)


About mermaid queen cordinates just follow ones that are provided in quest, alternative use of others when queen is dead at quest cords (but it has max respawn 5 min 12 sec so just wait for it xD)

Here is a cut out of story quest guide. The red parts do NOT need to be completed.
At least I did not complete them yesterday and finished most of the sea quests that are forward.

Two new quests will appear.
Past
Tradegy
Mysterious town (Double click on Righteous Document)

Mysterious Town (or something like that)
To find out the true location, find Drunkyard - Anthony (2222, 2889).
He'll then ask you to get Survival Compass for him from Little Daniel (2193, 2730).
Voyager will not be asked to complete this part.
For every class EXCEPT VOYAGER
This will activate a new quest to get Survival Compass
The quest consist of 10 rounds. You'll have to return to him everytime you complete 1 round.
I won't even list out the coordinates becaues they're most likely wrong.
1- Sakura 13 Warship * 10
2- Vampiric Polliwog * 10
3- Tempest Sea Jelly
4 - Silk Shark * 10
5- Topaz Dolphin * 10
6- Hurricane Sea Jelly * 10
7- Mature Ruby Dolphin * 10
8 -Sakura 13 Pirate Command Ship * 10
9 -Spiny Fish Bone * 10
10 -Northern Pirate Support Ship * 10
You'll get Survival Compass after the 10th round from Little Daniel (2193, 2730).
Head back to find Drunkyard - Anthony (2222, 2889).
You'll have now obtained :
Survival Compass
50000 gold
Charmed Berry * 6 ( increase drop rate by 2 in 15 mins)
40000 life experience
250000 experience points

Tradegy
Use Underwater Detector at the coordinates indicated and you'll receive a letter inside the bottle.
Now return to Holy Priestess - Ada (862, 3303) .
Go find Oldman - Blurry (2272, 2700) and he'll ask you to kill the following :
Jack the Pirate's Warship * 10
Jack the Pirate's Support Ship * 5
Jack the Pirate's Command Ship * 1
Return to Oldman - Blurry (2272,2700)
You'll have now obtain the following :
Light of Terra(Lv 60 physical resistance necklace)
Lv 2 Refining Gem Voucher
100k gold
60k life experience points

Past
Find Sand Bandit - Supermun (1080, 3086)
Hit Sand bandits (1339,3300) until they drop Ancient Note
Find Holy Priestess - Ada (862, 3303)
You'll have now obtain the following :
Lv 2 Refining Gem Voucher
60k life experience points

Find Granny - Beldi (2277, 2769) and she'll ask you to retrieve her Ancient Earring
Head to Thundoria Bank Banker - Macurdo (743, 1534) to retrieve it.

VOYAGER AND HERBALIST CLASS HAVE TO COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING TO OBTAIN THE ANCIENT EARRING
Kill Great Polar Bear * 100 (Deep blue - 3101,666)

Go back to Granny - Beldi (2277, 2769) and she'll give you Water Wheel
Use the Water Wheel at sea to activate the next part of the quest.
Now sail to Albania Haven (Ascaron)
Talk to Harbor Operator - Daruka (1497, 1707)
Hit Sakura 13 Pirate Command Ship to obtain Supplies 1950, 1286

Newest update how to shorten a story quests.

You don't need to finish the 8 gates

Just do like that:

When you see this part at the story quest guide...

Who is the Enlightned One
Look for either Langa of Shaitan, Argent City's Ronnie or Icicle City's Reyno for a chat.
You can talk to only one of them. (Langa has the best reward)

... Choose Argent chairman - Ronnie !

He will give u way shorter quest. Here is my guide to it:

1. Choose one of the 4 following NPC
(3 are bugged so that brings you down to 1 hehe)
And that one is Harbor Operator: Gregory (Icicle; 194, 1715)

2. He will give you 4 quests (each time you need to sail back to him to get a new quest)

2.1 Get him 2 Shining Fish Bone Rack (Feral Fish Bone; Magical Ocean; 900, 1308)
2.2 Get him 2 Bewitching
Siren Crystal (Bewitching Siren; Magical Ocean; 1014, 2550)
2.3 Get him 99 Elven Fruit (Mystic Shrub; Everywhere; ????,????)
2.4 Get him 1 Beardy Militia Emblem (Beardy Pirate Militia, Isle of Fortune)

3. Talk to Gregory and he will send you to Argent Chairman - Ronnie

4. Carry on with your story quests, next one should be:

The Mystery has been solved
Bring the Stone of Meng to Weird Grandpa in Icicle's haven

Dispute of the Old
Look for Granny Dong in Icicle Haven
Talk to Granny Dong, say 'Hello!' and answer question (Chicken)

This has been proven on BSO and the quests further worked 100% normally.
Also the Gregory quest guide was written by me, and I allow it to be used in educational intentions only! -joke-

Update with: The Blacksmith Worries "bug" solution

There is actually no bug at all (maybe it was fixed, but I keep having the feeling that guy that reported the "bug" did not finish story enough far to get the quest)

Reward: 1.5 mil exp, 400k gold, 80k life exp
Seal Research Outcome

Wait for Weird Grampa to tell you his research results
(this quest will never finish, since Grandpa is too lazy to finish his research)

Find Mark (516,407) at Skeletar Isle.
Deliever letter to Elizabeth (618,966) at Treasure Gulf.

Help Elizabeh (618,966) at Treasure Gulf find Elizabeth Necklace
Whack it from [Skeletar Pirate Ship]
Reward : 250000 EXP, 150000G
