New players

this server seems to be very nice but as new player u dont even have a chance to test it since no one is there to help u. seems to be a nice server with unfriendly ppl. that way u wont get new players

About leveling most people are more concerned about leveling their own desciple alts rather than new players

So we might remove sandbag npc
And bring in an alternative for Reputation to Azrael Exchanger

And considering the fact that newbies cannot get strong enough to farm the different mazes that drops goddessfavors (Worth 2.5m ea) , we will gladly try to find an alternative to help newbies get on their own feet without having to depend on the people who are othervice busy on Reputation\Gold farming.

I dont think you shouls get rid of sandbag npc.
Maybe just make them cheaper?
The only other way is to make heavens berrys give mini amps and heavens berrys 4x exp bonus
cos only newbies can use them. Or just kill mobs like in normal ToP, you get 7x exp anyway so its not hard, especially for the first 80 levels

As for farming... farming isnt easy for anyone in the server, to farm 100m it can take like 30mins depending on droprate.
And its only FC2 all you need is to buy some crappy npc equips and farm with those until you can afford better ones.
Any private server that will make you from lvl 1 to 100 in a day and give you best equips for doing nothing is a bad server.
If your not looking for a server that you need to work for to get good then BSO isnt for you.

Maybe newbies could lvl up if they got sand bags, like they get them from that box where u get some new eq until lv45... Once they have bags its kinda easy to find some1 to kill...

well it kinda is a horrible idea xD since than ppl will just make chars and get em to 45 for free bags

but i was thinking u could make another "job" like there are cops and news reporters u can make so called tour guide

those would help new players with leveling showing around supporting them with their OWN money etc. (like mentors would have to originally do) and than they could get rewards (lets say for every 3 new players) like a sandbag package or money idk... gm chooses rewards anyway

and there should be a limited number of those guides so ppl wouldn't just go and lvl their alts for bags and also GM should make new players know who those tour guides are

horrible would be the person who would farm lv1,2,3 and maybe some lv4 bags this way lol
u can farm like 5x more bags in fc and buy whit money from npc

but i tough this topic was about how to help new players and getting them bags would just lvl them and leave em with no money, equips, info on npc/prices and stuff

that way they would stay "Never Owned One Before" even at lv80 and would still have quite a hard time at getting at least decent equipment, pet ...

its most about lvling new players o.o
