The Problem [Official Discussion]
Hello guys
Our GM team had a lot of plans for the server. But before we bring any of them into effect, the players have to be strong enough to face those challenges.
But there is a problem. The difference in strength between players is huge. That gap has to be narrowed down. The main reason for this problem is because we did not make a complete wipe when we moved from the old server. Because of that many players are already very powerful (donator and non donator who came from the old server)
But the new players who come into server have NO chance of competing against these old players. If we do anything to help the new players get stronger, the old players can abuse it to get +27 equips with no hardwork.
We need a solution to fix. A way to make new players stronger without making the old players overpowered.

Just an idea: make the vote chests functions like lotteries. So maybe for chest of tara = 10 vote point.. luna = 30 pt.. the last one.. 50 pt.. then put good mall items inside just like normal lotteries. Voters deserve more than angela that can't lvl up with normal fruits and fed with normal rations.. or just 20-50m from chests, it's not going to help at all :/

Lottery rewards are abusable by people with Dynamic ips
We are already creating a new set of equipment sets (with effects) for vote \ rp reward.
We need a more permanent and reliable way for newbies to get stronger.
One thought was to give an extra 5000 HP to newbie sets. Give damage multiplers to newbie sets. It could work because they cant be repaired. But the problem is that they will prefer to keep using newbie characters instead of using that bonus work on their real equipments.

Could work but i doubt it will change in-game mechanism, because at the end they will lose newbie set and back to normal newbie again, which means they become weaker. Or they'll just make another char, lvl it up to 80, and start going to ca and flame some people.. that's the main concern because it used to happen..
For dynamic IPs, of course people with dynamic IP can vote several times. But then the server will get it's benefit as well, which in turns attracting more players from other PS in, and new maller possibilities. I think we can't just left most voters behind with crappy stuffs just because few people can vote few times a day.

We are rank 1 leading by 45850 votes. The voting reset on 8th on this month. That means we got 50000+ votes in 4 days. Thats only with 150-180 players active at a time. Once we get back to bso's peak limit (350+ players online at a time) more votes are useless since we are already on top.
More votes wont benefit server in anyway xDD

Gm why are you making the Newbs much powerful than the Old Players???
the only Old Player thats Powerful is like only the Donators and the Nonmallers who farmed 24/7....
and dont forget we the Old Players, have experienced being Newb too! we worked our asses off to get strong and for me the Old BSO is much harder than EO cuz when i first joined the server, i worked my asses off in Fc2 to farm GF wich is not 100% and drops not so often and its like 25m/20 minutes and now on EO FC2 drops 100% GF for 1m each isnt that easier?! 600m/hour! so its not really a big gap........ and most of the old Players quitted!
and theres no much change about the price of things except for the exp poss......
even I have a hard time killing DarkArea1 on Ca with Newbie Set
so wheres the big Gap on that???? i can make a cruz with acceptable gems on set "to be not called a NOOB" in just 1 day in EO but not on BSO

a player can gem up a con champ's newbie death set up to +15 and go to Ca on full Con Mode + Shield+15 then thats like being terra on Ca,,, very hard to kill! and call every1 a noob cuz they cant kill the champ and piss every1...

how about you pay the old players not to play? lol if we dont log in for a month or 2 we get paid DC.
-we dont log in.
-characters made before the upgrade wont be used etc
im sure with enough DC we can be motivated not to play lol

instead of newbie shield give them a dmg multiplier. the newbie shield just delays their death from being 1 slashed etc.

Shai 360 was made after the server wipe so maybe it counts as new char while my Balalaika was counted as old char so i can kept on playing as my champ and getting dc at the same time
Anyway my suggestion is to put more mall items as RP, which of course at proper cost (Putting equipments for insane amount rp will make no difference in the server anyway, especially we know SW outcome depends mostly on maller players)

Putting in rewards is boring making it For hard crafting quest would be more fun. I was newb once and i earnt all my items.

Crafts has a failure %, point with this is. People are SICK off RNG. Seriously, everywhere around its RNG right now and every single game dies by it after a short period off time.
I agree putting up rewards for RP which are actually worth getting it would change a lot (Lv95 sets are 100% pure crap)
Put things down there which are obtainable in the mall (Angela JR for example) The Angela JR on its own caused the last final bit off the HUGE imbalance between mallers and non mallers. 77 stats for free, for nothing for payin 25 DC and its litterally impossible to get ingame.
Ive written down the time needed to farm an Angela Jr lv5 provided that you have 100% luck with the chests, AND with buying from people. It took only: 3.5 months time for Angela JR lv5.
And thats where it starts,.. Emagine getting it to Lv77..
Funny enough when I wrote a topic about it, and asked GM ingame all I got "Requst denied" twice and even "deleted" my topic without even bothering to reply.
Well so far for their oppinion, now its up to them aswel to realise it might actually might help bringing a little bit off the balance back.

u can do this... just another Idea every time they open Newbie chest they get a better gear from it giving them HP and attack dmg .. but not more than what 75 death set gives...
75 death set can be obtained from newbie chest too anyways.. just make the 75 death set tradable .. but not those ones form Newbie chest
ex
lv 10 newbie set gives 2000 more HP and 1.5k max
lv 20 set gives 3000 HP and 2k max
lv 30 set gives 4000 hp and 2.5k max
lv 40 set gives 5000 hp and 3k max
and they can keep using it untill they can use the DEATH set...
so they wont have to stick with NEWBIE set and be too powerfull
make the newbie chest gives gemmed weapons too... atleast that way they dont have to waste money farming for gems and refs and forge them without any money in hand... every time they open the newbie chest they get a new weapon with gems according to their level .. make the weapons not tradable ... its better that way so atleast at their lowest level they can make money fast and become stronger like the old players ^_^

theres a very easy solution cancel the newbie de effect becuz ppl will just stick with that and not upgrade there own set instead of the newbie set make hat that has the same effect as the newbie death set so they would work on there equips and make the hat unrepairable so when it dies in that time their equips will be gemmed enough so they wont be "newbie" anymore and they just get a crown of descent or 95 uns hat or any helm when that one dies

pro player not using chipp anymore... chipp just helping but can't make newbie become pro in one week.. they still need to work hard to get BEST EQ.

This game can only support a maximum of 2B gold. We cannot change that as it will lead to a lot of mathematical and run time errors. That is how the game was designed. Probably because they never expected players to reach 2B gold and it is only possible here since its a ps.
