SERVER BACK ONLINE FROM NEW HOST !

First topic message reminder :

Hello guys

Due to our hosting company being "not worth the money" we pay for,
we decided to change our dedicated host

We pay a pretty huge amount for hosting every month and the quality of the host is not satisfactory
Everyday their internet is unstable and we have some problem with the company every few days. Their service and support is terrible and they cant upgrade our server's internet to 1 Gbps

So i will talk with lisa and find a better professional hosting company who can host our server for us. There are the best two choices

The first one I found is from CA , USA . They will host our server with a 1Gbps internet connection and better uptime for an extra 60$ to what we pay now . Considering the improvement in hardware i hope the price will be worth it.

Second host is from the UK
Same again Server hardware gets upgraded quite a bit and the internet gets upgraded to 1 Gbps again. But the price increase is MUCH more
We have to pay extra 160$ for this one
Advantage is that , since the server is in UK , all players from around the globe will have a good connection with the server and that means almost very little lag for everyone . But too expensive and we cant afford this yet

but we cant afford either plans yet
So probably the option we choose would be the first one from USA again . Atleast its got a 1000 Mbps port and the server pc is better , although at a higher expense. Once we collect enough funds and after discussing with lisa tomorrow i will let you guys know of the decision. Please feel free to give your valued suggestions.

Seeing as how everyone missed it, and no one has improved their characters. I think it's all fair, sometimes things like this happen. I remember in old TOP when our server was down for 5 days straight, because of some stupid oil-company down in Saudi-Arabia broke some sort of underground line or something.
Anyway, I'll just be happy if it gets back up.

Was everyone satisfied with the previous server's internet speed ?
We were running on a 100 Mbps internet (But on speed check it comes upto 30-60 Mbps only)

For the current server on speed test , the upload speed comes upto 70-80 Mbps
More over for an extra 100$ per month they will upgrade server to 1000Mbps internet. But i dont think we can afford that yet nor do we need it atm.

get the one in the uk, i plan on mallin fookin shit loads, but i wont if problems like this arise again, ive got friends comin over from real top too, if they see problems they wont mall either
