My ideas for a xmas event

Hi Admin as discussed heres what i think, dont luaugh guys

My proposal for a christmas event


Id base the event on a story quest basis, having to eet various NPC thryout the land of top, he quest could be started at any of the 3 maine citys, and the starting NPC should be a christas angel if it could be done all the other NPC should be chritmas thead ie raindeers, elfs, santa clause and so on, the end NPC where you finished the quest would have to be a christmas tree, to collect your present, but if you cant make custom NPC no bother.


1st npc would give a brief story of saying plz help me in my quest for ? (you need to decide what the prize would be) once quest has been acepted a sub quest of plz collect soe items before you can continue (items you decide) but i suggest a normal mob drop ie muds from ds? or summat like that make the player have to collect a few items and of quanity of 30, also send them to fc1 for wailing warrior carcuss, dw world for a mob drop in there, it gets people to pk while there at it
once they collected 30 items from each pk zone ie DW,FC and DS they complete the quest, then the npc sets another quest

2nd NPC this npc would sent you on a journy by boat to kill sea mermaid the lvl 100 one i think, and collect one of her drops, its pretty hard but very doable solo

3rd NPC Lone Tower, ive always loved lone tower, set up a NPC on each floor, each NPC sets out sub quests ie kill 30 mobs on that floor before passin to the next floor, keep doin that until floor 6 where you should place a mini quest of havin to kill every mob on that floor say 30-50 times

4th NPC Time to go to winter and collect a bull shield, forgot what mob drops it, but state all warriors must be strog eough to hold a sheild, once collected ext npc

5th NPC this npc would ask the player to become a warrior and proove he has what it takes to become a warrior, the npc will ask the player to gather Rep, (im saying 100-500k you can decide) once they have gathered the rep go back to npc for a token of proof

6TH NPC this would be the final quest, this would be very hard, but easier than rebirth, and hence alot of people are doin rebirth it would be a good thing and would help server growth, send the player on a boss kill spree, ie Barbaossa, BD, and Death soul commander, i know your thinkig these mobs are impossible solo, this is where team work comes in guilds will have to unite and work toghether ( i think respawn times of bosses will have to change for the event duration to accomadate the server)

once the tasks are completed the player should gather to a NPC in Abbadon to claim his gift (whatever Gm decides) im hopig this NPC will be a christmas tree

In Christmas of 2009 in TOP there was outside of Icicle a big-n-good made christmas tree, you could use that for the reward npc, aside from some little elfs/santas.
Generally I like your idea, but I dislike the part where you need to kill mermaid queen. That migt be cause i HATE sea.

The mermaid queen drop collect idea has g2g away

The fact is that you can get every single drop from easier mobs

Maybe making it "kill mermaid queen"...

if this is only on the 2 days of christmass i pass to do any event that takes wole day to do...

christmas spirit is to be whit urr family having fun
not to be addicted whole day behind the pc for 1 christmas event...

its a good idea tho but if u mean it on the 2 christmas days itself i woud change that
