New Player GMs,

NO WE DONT WANT PLAYERS AS GMS !

People as GMs? LOL as if ths server doesnt have Drama! Absolutely INSANE! if people who are playing here become GMs

Where did you see gm posting that normal players can be gm? Can you link me to it please?

So far, server has no record of a common player becoming a GM.

They always choose their GMs personally, based in their experience working with them. And i bet, a GM like SmileyKiller is known by Chris and Connor since a long time.

Right now in the server there is no player qualified enough, not even close, to be a GM.

Being a GM implies more than making ingame/forum events, doing cop duties, moderating server/forum, doing blogs, suggesting new features, etc.

It involves hard development work.
Working directly with database, game codes and server.
Those, given the fact, are extremely delicate issues involving not just some privileges, but considerable amounts of money, which GMs are not going to hand to an unknown person, no matter how much effort and dedication that player might have.

Maybe im mistaken, but if you thought as me for a GM cadidate, you can be at ease. I wont qualify, and my personal responsabilities in life will make that possition impossible to occupy.

Hope this reasons are enough to calm most players.

Thought so. I never once seen gm saying they are hiring anyone as a gm . The closest thing to a gm is event moderator and even her access is limited.

then why would gm post a recruitment for normal players since they knw none is good and trusted enough to be ? theres something fishy

Working with us

All staff members will be paid monthly in Donation Credits. Salary amount depends on the quality of your work.
All your decisions and actions have to be unbiased
Only Event GMs can trade items with players
Forging & Customization cards will only be handled by an admin or head GM.
GMs will be allowed to play with their normal characters, but your GM identity has to be kept discreet.
Event GMs cannot participate in their own events.
Abusing your GM access will not only result in a suspension of your GM account, but can also get you banned permanently.
All GM activity is monitored by the Head GMs
Sharing of your GM account will result in a ban for you as well as the person who accesses the account
GMs are not allowed to "call" players to (CA, DW2, FC, SW, TC, AL, DC, Abba)
All GMs are authorized to use the "mute" command if there is a valid reason
All Ingame GMs work under (GM) Connor
All Events GMs work under (GM) Chris
All donation enquiries have to be forwarded to the Admins or Head GMs
You will have access to the EO GM Lounge which will allow you to keep in touch with full GM team
Follow the rules on website without exception
All GMs are allowed to Arrest players if there is a valid reason
You can choose any name for your GM Character, but your name will have the prefix "(MOD) " or "(GM) "

btw the thread seems old, it is, but it wasnt about recruiting gms, it was about recruiting other staff like cops, forum mods etc. it just got changed.

tryxz fits in the lv4 access.
Even tho, she is not a GM.

Event GM

GM itself is a big term that can be misunderstood.

this server dont even need more gms cuz theres no ppl playing, 1-2 gm is enough for 10-20 person

if gm check forum and request daily of once every 2-3 days everything will be alright its not like this server have many people that the current gms cant help all

Ohhh I see now. I think it's easier for them to maintain. Like the previous method there were like 8 staff and it was hard to communicate with. It's easier to pay for 2-3 people who does all the jobs rather then many players who have a single task. I'm not saying you do. And as for in game gm . It's their server, I guess they know who to trust and who is reliable. You haven't given the new gm a chance yet. Maybe they will be very helpful. Idk that's just what I think.

cuz 98% of people who play in the server r immature, they flame, take sides, hate on eachother. i wouldnt like to have one of those as a gm of a server i play for too long.

i dont knw if this recruitment is still valid,if its not it should be in basket, if it is then its rly annoying.

We can reassure our players that no player in game can be a Game Moderator. As the task requires commitment as well knowledge in certain fields, any players in game cannot qualify for that position.
