Query about A-Sec

Dear gm team,

I would like to reason with you about A-sec, I would like to mall legend quest or even become a demi.
But the only reasons I will not is because of A-Sec and az and great un pliable.

So is it possible to request that I do not gain ip locking due to work, and overseas travel, Plus I use an internet dongle to play, so every-time I restart my internet I have a new ip.

So in doing this it is a hassle to email the gm's every-time I want to play I must email the gm's and wait 30 mins - 12 hours for a gm to re-configure my A-Sec details, this is rather troublesome and time wasting. This was one of the reasons I left my demi cleric.

I would like my A-Sec wavered for the responsibility for my own account safety against scam and hacking.

If this is a request that cannot be filled then I believe once I become a demi legend I'm afraid I will have to depart the server for good taking my future revenue else where, where this ip locks are no enabled.

Disable her A-Sec! It's becoming a pain cause she's a really active traveller and she's been talking to me about it. I suggest that the GMs find a way to somehow turn off A-Sec's IP address check for some people because for them, it's just too inconvenient. (e.g: when I go on holiday, I travel from one room to another, changing my IPs. I can't play EO on the free wifi in the hotel D: So, before the trip starts, I would ask the GMs to disable the IP check or A-Sec.)

its not just about scamming, and hacking, its about absuing aswel..

if she use the same laptop with different connection then her acc wont get locked, i use the same laptop at my 2 houses, work places, and when i travel, and im playing normally, if GM will disable her a-sec they other legends want to disable their a-sec aswel cuz all annoyed cuz of it not only her.

then why is it, many times my own cleric was locked? no matter the ip.

Disabling the IP check won't be considered abuse for the game. It's just for the security of the accounts as far as I can tell. Hopefully a GM can clarify what the IP check is for.

Also, removing the ip restrictions it is still classed as A-sec locking another characters account and mine if logged on by another. If i am correct on how a-sec works.

well, b4 gm put the a-sec, many people used to log eachother which made the pk become unfair, for example, everytime im in pk they log a legend ss with EK to kill me with HS.
some legends were logged 24/7 cuz their friends r logging them, so its one of the reasons why gms put legends under a-sec

Most legend character owners are so inactive and having more than one user would allow the server to have more legends on because their friends can log the legend character. The only problem with this for the server is that less people will donate and they will use their friend's legend character to farm things in the game.

I'm still interested as to what the GMs have to say to this though. I think that they should be slightly more lenient, allowing only very few exceptions to A-Sec because of their circumstances. In this case, xMayy is in a difficult situation and removing her A-Sec would greatly increase her activity in the game. She'll probably even donate to the server for removing A-Sec! She knows the risk of getting hacked without A-Sec and I think she has the right to remove it from her own account. Just my opinion though. It's going to be hard to find out whether a person is allowed to remove their A-Sec or not. Maybe some pictures of documents to prove their problem? Just suggestions for the GM Team and supporting my friend ^^

A-Sec's main aim was Stopping of Sharing Legend accounts..
Then Demi's were included to stop sharing of those accounts also.

People share accounts = Short-cut to success.
- Success here can mean anything from winning pk/mazes/Bosses, farming gold/Gems in very easy way than working themselves using their own chars.

Everyone dont want GodxNero, S2, SpiritReaper online 24x7 cuz of removal of A-Sec.

- If A-Sec was removed for xMayy, then I also demand my A-Sec to be removed so that i can play at my friend's house whom I visit often almost everyday.

I never wanted A -sec. Not like people can steal my items anyhow.

A-sec was originally ment for only 15 Accounts. And that's If players wanted to purchase it. Lets not stray from the truth. I never supported the Idea legends get "FRee A-Sec". It was Imposed 2-3 months later after announcement and was for legends first. Demi's did not exist then. (Fanta owned all maps). To bring some sort of balance to pk Gms forced legends to have it. Changed / cleared rules up about sharing of accounts. In addition a-sec was ment to be allowed for 3 Ip addresses per acc. Quite Frankly that does not happen. Therefor players like the REAL XIII cant log his account.

People like me who move all over the country cause of work haven't got any flexibility in our accounts.

i love A-sec... no problems for me... i can get on just after work... no need to live in the game...

@Rora that is your friends house, I often travel 16-17 hours flight to see the family I have left behind for one. So that isn't a "i'll just walk home" moment.
Obviously you didn't read my situation at all or did and didn't under stand it.
+ You're DEMANDING, while i am asking should i have to leave or can this be granted so i can continue playing.

@Tryxz I can do the same, but work as a receptionist gets done quickly and being at times and I would like to log in and be able to talk with friends to make my day seem a lot faster.

Look, I can't even forge more then I am already at, if I do I will get demi once more just like I did on my cleric, hence the same situation as my cleric.

So it's basically i can choose these if future a-sec is not able to be unlocked; not gem and be a maller with low as forge and just do nothing for weeks on end, get bored and quit, or start looking for a new server and leave eternals.

A-Sec should be disabled for a few people. Maybe make the requirements for an a-sec disable high? I'm not sure. But there are other ways around the problem of several people using the same character. It is more work for the GMs however.

i dont support removing the a-sec to prevent dualing eachother and make some legends online 24/7 .

I would love if mines disabled. Going from one side of Australia to another makes it near impossible for me to play. Even with laptop. If the player tells gm via email what region they head to and for how long I don't see a problem with it been removed. GMs Aren't stupid and can tell if its logged (Example Australia then 30 mins Later logged in the USA)

Bleh, i'm not talking about other legends who used their characters like whores..
I'm pretty sure i wouldn't give my account info to someone when ive spent/will spend 500-2k+ on.

You have the right to play. If made demi or mall legend, i should have the right to play also ^^

When players travel, they can contact us to allow temporary access to the account from a different IP address.
Also players who use portable devices to login to their characters can continue to do so after contacting us.

There is no option of disabling A-Sec on a protected account unless we find the case exceptional.

A-Sec is not just to protect the account from unauthorized use, but also as a method to prevent account sharing which used to be a major problem looking back at the server's history and to prevent many other forms of abuse or scams.

With out rules, there is no order. With no order, there is no structure. With out structure there are no limits. With out limits there is chaos...

Yet again, too much rules, the structure is over crowded, causing the unavailablity of limits, still causing chaos.
